Important Update regarding The Moon and Two Stars
It is with an incredibly heavy heart that I have to make this announcement.
Today, March 23rd, the Premier of Ontario has announced that all non-essential businesses must temporarily shut down due to the COVID-19 threat. This unfortunately includes The Moon and Two Stars.
While 90% of my business is run contact-free and from my home studio, I do require the services of local businesses for supplies as well as my neighbourhood Canada Post office to mail out your completed pieces.
What this means:
• For all orders placed up until today, March 23rd 2020, I will complete to the best of my abilities in my home studio contact free. The minute I am able to resume business I will be heading to my local post office to mail out those pieces. The completion of these pieces will most likely extend out of my 6-8 week completion range.
• Pickup of completed pieces in person will not be considered.
• www.themoonandtwostars.com will be temporarily shut down. You will still be able to browse my website, but not place any orders.
This decision doesn’t come to me easily. In fact it is completely breaking my heart. I’ve watched friends and families with small and privately owned businesses shut their doors over the past few weeks and thought because I work from home, I’d be safe. However I am an Ontario registered business, and am making the responsible decision for my community to temporarily close my doors.
Your understanding is exceedingly appreciated.
I cannot wait until I can continue to preserve your memories.
