Clients are responsible for reading and understanding all the shop policies, mailing guides, keepsake care guide and terms and conditions in their entirety. By placing an order and completing a purchase with The Moon and Two Stars, the client is expressing agreement and understanding of all shop policies, terms, and conditions.
Any orders placed (product, gift cards or store credits) are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Failure of using these will result in forfeit of purchase and will not be honoured or refunded.
Upon placing an order, clients must send their inclusions to The Moon and Two Stars within 2 months of ordering. The client also must understand that under no situation should they be sending the very last of any inclusions to The Moon and Two Stars. This stands especially true for cremation ashes, locks of hair, or anything that one cannot get more of. The client also understands that the mailing of the inclusion to The Moon and Two Stars is at their own cost. The Moon and Two Stars provides a relatively safe and inexpensive guideline on how to mail inclusions.
Upon receiving your keepsake, please inspect it thoroughly. If there are any concerns or errors regarding the keepsake, the client must contact The Moon and Two Stars within three days of receiving their keepsake. All packages mailed out include time-stamped tracking and this will be used to determine the timeline allowed for errors. Clients must agree to follow all keepsake care instructions in order to maintain the lasting quality of their jewelry. Any deviations to the care guide that may affect the keepsake are at the risk of the client and not valid under warrantee of The Moon and Two Stars (see warrantee)
The Crafting Process
Everything in nature is unique and cannot be duplicated. As the inclusions themselves are derivatives of nature, the client understands that while The Moon and Two Stars attempts to maintain a level of consistency, completed keepsakes may not resemble any of the other completed pieces that have been documented by The Moon and Two Stars on their social media sites. These images serve to provide examples of previous work and do not reflect the final outcome of a similar completed keepsake. This includes colour, texture, settling, deviations or other differences. While the client can show us what inspires them, no previous work is guaranteed to be replicated.
Refund and Return Policy
By placing an order and completing a purchase with The Moon and Two Stars, the client is expressing agreement and understanding of all shop policies, terms and conditions.
By placing an order with The Moon and Two Stars, the client understands that they have two consecutive days to cancel said order, and that there will be a 20% cancellation fee of the total order cost. There is an understanding that after two consecutive days, no refund will be available.
By placing an order with The Moon and Two Stars, the client understands that there are no returns available for our products due to the personal nature of this type of product. The client understands that there are no exchanges/refunds available at any time for completed or in process jewelry.
By placing an order with The Moon and Two Stars, the client understands that after two consecutive days, there are no refunds for any orders regardless of whether the client sends in inclusions for preservation. Failure to send in inclusions to be created into jewelry does not warrant a refund for any placed order. The client agrees that any incorrect information given to The Moon and Two Stars by the client at the point of purchase is that responsibility of the client. This includes, but is not limited to; metal allergies, ring sizes, mailing address, inclusion type, or fleck/shimmer choice. Any deviation of this will not result in a refund.
The Moon and Two Stars offers a 30 day warrantee for our settings. Any defects in our settings/bases within 30 days of receiving your keepsake as marked by the postal tracking time-stamp will be considered a manufacturing error and will be addressed as necessary by The Moon and Two Stars. Clients are expected to contact The Moon and Two Stars immediately to acknowledge the issue and will be asked to provide photographs of the defective piece. The clients will be expected to send back the jewelry within three weeks of initial contact. Jewelry not received in this timeframe will not be addressed and corrected by The Moon and Two Stars. The Moon and Two Stars warrantee does not include any issues that appear to be the result of improper care or abuse of the keepsake. This includes, but is not limited to, improper cleaning and handling of the keepsake. These circumstances are determined at the discretion of The Moon and Two Stars. Any damage or breakage to the keepsake after 30 days is not the responsibility of The Moon and Two Stars.
